Kalsubai Peak, otherwise called as the “Everest of Maharashtra” is the highest point in the western ghats range in the State. The peak has an elevation of 1646 Metres/5400 ft and is located in the district of Nashik. The mountain range lies within the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary.

Sandhan Valley is considered as the second largest valley that has a 4 km long stretch of the crevice, The trail is a complete descent trek from the starting point of the valley, involves water crossing which adds up the thrill at the beginning of the trek, descend through the boulders in the crevice, rappel down vertical rock patches to reach the end of the Valley.

Ratangad Fort is situated in Ahmednagar nagar district of Maharashtra and in the Kalsubai Range. This 400 year old fort is often called as jewel of Sahayadri. The 5km trek starting from base villages samrad & Ratanwadi give an amazing thrilling experience.

Firefly Special:

Pre - Monsoon days are best time to experience the fireflies in Sahyadri. Sandhan Valley, Kalsubai and nearby forest cover are few of the famous spots, Where we can witness thousands of fireflies during the late May and June months.

Day 1: Reach Bari by afternoon- Explore nearby waterfall

Day 0: Overnight journey from Ahmedabad

  • Ahm/Surat to Bari village Overnight Journey (550 km/ 10-12 Hours)

  • Reach Bari village by afternoon
  • Lunch at Homestay-Campsite
  • Explore nearby waterfall/bhandardara dam
  • Sort hike (Fireflies during pre monsoon)
  • Dinner, Rest for the day


Day 2: Kalsubai trek and Trek down and Samradh/Bari Stay
  • Early morning wake up & Breakfast
  • Trek to Kalsu bai
  • Simple pack lunch will be provided
  • As per schedule trek will take 6-8 hours
  • Trek down to Base Village
  • Drive to Samrad Village, Reach by evening
  • Local homestay Accomodation/ Camping Stay and Dinner


Day 3: Ratangarh Trek and Return Journey
  • Early morning trek to Ratangarh
  • Trek duration 4-6 Hours
  • Lunch at Base village
  • Start return journey
  • Dinner break on the way


Day 4: Reach hometown in the morning

  • 70% balance amount minimum 3 days prior to departure date.
  • Company has the right to cancel your participation, Incase of delay or non-payment on remaining balance.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 100% refund 14 days prior to departure date, exclusive of GST, Train/Flight or Bus ticket cancellation charges.
  • 30% cancellation charges if cancellation is done between 14 to 3 days prior to departure date or full amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming short events in the next two months or You can transfer a seat to your friends/family members.
  • 70% cancellation charges if cancellation is done between 3 to 1 days prior to departure date or 70% amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming short events in the next two months or You can transfer a seat to your friends/family members.
  • Fees are neither refundable nor transferable if cancellation is done, less than 1 day prior to the event date. If possible and convenient from our end, you can transfer the seat to your friends/family members.
  • If you have made a group booking and one or more of the group members cancel their participation, The same booking and cancellation policy will apply.

  • During heavy rain, camping is not possible, so basic accommodating will be provided local homestay in sharing basis
  • Itinerary may change subject to current weather
  • Maharashtra's monsoon treks are not for leisure, facilities are really limited, food is very basic
